In the short time that Loggia conservatories have been around, they have made a real stir in the market worldwide. Combining Italian design with British engineering, the Loggia brings the spaciousness and light of a traditional glass conservatory and incorporates the practical and thermal benefits brought by a brick extension. As soon as these occupants caught sight of a Loggia, they knew they had to have one. The solar-controlled glass roof means there’s no need to worry about the conservatory overheating, and a pure cream finish was chosen to draw the right attention to the well-insulated and ornate columns that adorn the corners.
We installed spotlights in the ceiling and carefully disguised their wiring, and added tilt and turn windows at the front face of the structure so it could be opened up in a similar way to the centrally placed French doors. These doors were fitted with the now-classic deign of Purity handles, giving a smooth and easy movement when opening them up. For security’s sake, there are strong locks inside the French doors, to prevent any possibility of an intruder entering. Someone might try as hard they can to get in, but access to the Loggia will remain solely for the benefit of the occupants.
