Every installation begins with an accurate and thorough survey. One of our skilled surveyors will check your property, ensure the structural openings are in good condition and confirm that the proposed designs are suitable.
They’ll also record all the necessary dimensions and pass these across for manufacture so that your windows will be a perfect fit.
CARE & ATTENTION
Our fitting teams will treat your home with the utmost care. They’ll suitably prepare the working area and help move your valuables and possessions to a safe area.
Once the work is completed, they’ll clean up any mess and debris, and move everything back to where it was.
The fitting process begins with the removal of your old frames. These will be carefully extracted and, wherever possible, recycled. Old sealant and any debris will be cleared and disposed of.
At this point, your new frames will be secured into place.
Next, your glazed units will be fitted. Once these have been inserted, beading will be applied, along with any trims (if required).
With everything in place, both the frames and the glass will be cleaned of any dirt picked up during the installation process. When that’s done, sealant will be applied to firmly hold your frames in place.
To complete the installation, the Mid Wales fitting team will give everything another, thorough clean before applying a final layer of silicone beading for a watertight and weatherproof finish.
With everything completed, you can stand back and admire your new sparkling windows, courtesy of Mid Wales.
